Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the El Genio de los Latinos website or booking any of our services. These terms govern your relationship with us and outline the rights and responsibilities of both parties.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using this website and any services offered by El Genio de los Latinos, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this website or our services. These terms apply to all visitors, clients, and anyone who accesses or uses our services.
2. Services Offered
El Genio de los Latinos provides the following services: • Academic writing tutoring for college students • College success coaching • Business copy-editing • Scholarship application guidance All services are provided on a one-on-one basis and are subject to availability. We reserve the right to decline service to anyone at our discretion.
3. Scheduling and Appointments
Sessions are scheduled through Google Calendar. Payment in full is required at the time of booking in order to reserve your appointment. Your session is not confirmed until payment has been received. By booking a session, you agree to: • Provide accurate contact information • Attend your scheduled session on time • Understand that payment is collected in advance via Stripe and is nonrefundable upon client cancellation Repeated no-shows may result in refusal of future bookings.
4. Fees and Payment
Current service rates are as follows: • Academic Tutoring: contact us for current rates • Scholarship Guidance: contact us for current rates • Business Copy-Editing: $60 per hour Payment is collected in full at the time of booking through Stripe. Your appointment is not reserved until payment is complete. Rates are subject to change with reasonable notice. All fees are in U.S. dollars.
5. Refund Policy
All session fees are nonrefundable upon client cancellation. By completing payment at the time of booking, you acknowledge and agree to this policy. If El Genio de los Latinos cancels or is unable to fulfill a scheduled session, a full refund will be issued or the session will be rescheduled at the client's preference. If you believe there has been a billing error, please contact us within 48 hours at [email protected] and we will review your concern promptly.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of El Genio de los Latinos and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this site without prior written permission. Work product created during tutoring or editing sessions (such as edited documents or written feedback) is provided for your personal educational use only and may not be resold or redistributed.
7. Client Responsibilities
By using our services, you agree to: • Submit your own original work for tutoring or editing • Use feedback and edits as a learning tool, not as a ghostwriting service • Comply with your institution's academic integrity policies El Genio de los Latinos is a tutoring and coaching service. We help you improve your writing — we do not write assignments on your behalf. Any misuse of our services in violation of academic integrity policies is solely your responsibility.
8. Limitation of Liability
El Genio de los Latinos provides services on an "as is" basis. We make no guarantees regarding specific academic outcomes, scholarship awards, or grades resulting from our services. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or this website.
9. Privacy

10. Modifications to Terms
